- Abstract
- In this paper, we propose a secure gateway system and a mobile gateway system for a wireless sensor network that provides secure wireless and wire communication channels for wireless sensor nodes and applications in the Internet. The mobile gateway supports one-hop event collection, node management, dissemination and security functions for local area in the wireless sensor network. The secure gateway has security functions such as key management, access control, secure query process, while the mobile gateway provides WSN monitoring by a sniffer function, key redistribution and node authentication in local area. Consequently, the both gateways are capable of enhancing security properties of the wireless sensor network.
