Abstract
In this paper, we described the design and implementation of the interface between a Mobile Trusted Module (MTM) and a mobile platform for data transmission. The most existing Trusted Platform Module (TPM)s are used for PC platforms and use the Low Pin Count (LPC) interface for data transmission. Unfortunately the existing TPMs for the PC platform are not able to be used for the mobile platform because mobile platforms do not support the LPC interface. And the LPC interface requires more pin outs for communication and operates at the high frequency. However the pinout and size of MTM should be smaller as soon as possible because, unlike a PC platform, a mobile platform has a limited resource and requires low power processing and low spaces. Therefore it is necessary to define the new MTM interface for the mobile platform environment.
