- Abstract
- In this paper, we suggest the methods to delineate the beginning of the GTC frames exactly and quickly at GPON OLT receiver. The receiver needs to re-align the clock to every input frame because of a burst transmission of ONU. Thus, before GTC frame arrives at the receiver, Limiting Amplifier and CPA should be reset. We suggest how to search start-time and endtime of ONU GTC frame from UBM(Upstream Bandwidth Map) allocated by AllocID, and how to search exact delimiter using CPA lock signal.
