Abstract
With the emergence of increasingly complex networks and diverse user terminals, the current IPTV services are expected to be evolved into scalable services. These scalable services have notable 4A (Any-time, Anywhere, Any-device, Any-content) features based on the scalable video coding. Here, the security for the scalable IPTV services is a critical issue. In this paper, security requirements are derived to ensure the end-to-end security of the scalable IPTV services. They include in-home reuse in the home network domain as well as the real-time broadcast in the broadband domain.
