Abstract
Recently, as part of research into organic materials for use in semiconductor devices, research projects on organic semiconductors for flexible electronics were conducted. Organic semiconductors can be manufactured in various ways and can be formed into fiber or film at relatively lower cost. Therefore, studies are being conducted on the application of organic circuit, such as flexible displays, RFID (radio-frequency identification), and so forth. Small molecules such as pentacene have provided the highest field effect mobility, but device-to-device variation makes large area deposition via printing difficult. However, polymer and polymer-small molecular blend system makes excellent device uniformity and solution rheology, which makes them good candidates for large area printing. The key elements of an organic RFID tag is the rectifier, which yields a dc voltage from the ac-voltage detected and generated by an antenna. This paper presents the organic schottky diode which is processed by the spin coating method.
