- Abstract
- Recently, Several quality adaptation schemes have been proposed for improving the quality of DASH. However, previous adaptation schemes based on DASH do not guarantee smooth and seamless playback because they do not considers the VBR characteristics of the contents. In this paper, we propose a QASD(Quality Adaptation Scheme for DASH) to provide seamless and smooth streaming service.
