Abstract
Using P2P for real-time streaming service may not be as effective as the contents distribution based service, since the number of peers with the latest packet may be limited by the capacity of the streaming server. In many P2P services, the service provider manually allocates contents servers to various part of P2P network. The service provider needs to makes decision on adequate contents server in order to provide stable service. This paper proposes method to dynamically allocate contents servers to appropriate position in order to enhance distribution performance for P2P based real-time streaming service.
