Abstract
To overcome the critical issues of mobile devices such as high performance and low power consumption, recently gets high attention a heterogeneous multicore architecture called big.LITTLE. In this Letter, energy model based task scheduler (EMS) is proposed to minimize energy consumption while guarantee good performance. Experimental results show that the proposed scheduler can achieve an average 13.24% improvement in the energy delay product compared to previous multicore process scheduler.
