Abstract
Since June 2012, ETRI has launched a project called "Co-Pilot" aimed at the development of an autonomous vehicle which is capable of cooperating with a driver and interacting with other vehicles in highway and urban environments while obeying traffic rules without collisions and deadlocks. This paper introduces an overview of the Co-Pilot system emphasizing on its hardware platform and software architecture. In addition, demonstrations of autonomous driving in highway and urban environments for the Co-Pilot system are introduced through URLs.
