Abstract
In this paper, we design a Korea Interference Detection and Mitigation system (KIDM) to detect and mitigate GPS jamming signal at nationwide stations by using a nationwide observation station. Currently, the Geographical Information Service provides Networked Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol (NTRIP) service to users by using the regular observation station for GPS signal monitoring installed in the whole country. KIDM uses NTRIP service to collect GPS measurement data of more than 160 stations and to detect GPS radio interference in real time. It also generates a reduction signal by showing the extent of damage due to propagation disturbance through the location of the GPS radio interference source and the signal strength estimation. In this paper, we have designed an operational concept for constructing a KIDM system.
