Abstract
In this paper, we propose an algorithm to control the charging of the battery with constant e±ciency regardless of the landing position in wireless charging system for drone. This wireless charging system employs an out-band method with a narrowband FSK modem using the 2.4 kHz band for power control and 140 kHz band for wireless power transfer. The system has a maximum transmission power of 200 W (100 V, 2 A) and receiving power of 120 W (30 V, 4 A). The proposed algorithm can start charging, stop charging, monitor in real time, charging current and voltage control automatically or manually. The drones used in the experiment are the DJI S1000 + models, and the full charge time is 2 hours, which is the same as the wired charging With GPS (Global Positioning System) and vision sensor technology, precise automatic takeoAE and landing is possible and a completely unmanned mission becomes possible.
