Vehicle Data Server Implementation based on Emerging Industry Standards

- In the near future, the connected car system is expected to grow steadily and form a big mainstream. In this situation, some automakers are developing standard interfaces that can be used to access vehicle information in a vendor-independent way to build larger connected-car ecosystems. In this paper, we introduce the vehicle data standard and the vehicle data access interface standard currently being developed as an industry standard. In addition, we implemented the vehicle data server based on these standards to verify the feasibility of the standard and summarize the issues that need to be resolved in the future.
