기존의 시뮬레이션은 복잡도가 높은 시스템을 시스템 구성 요소와 그들 간의 상호작용으로 모델링하여 컴퓨팅 노드에서 실행시키고 실행 결과를 분석하여 미래를 예측하는 기법이다. 그러나 기존의 방법은 시간이 지남에 따라 시뮬레이션의 신뢰도가 낮아지는 현상이 발생한다. 본 논문은 기존 방법의 구조적 약점을 보완하기 위해, 현실 데이터의 변화를 시뮬레이션 모델에 반영하여 자가진화 시킴으로 지속적으로 정확도 높은 미래 예측을 가능하게 하는 방법을 제시하였다.
