Abstract
The design of C-band uplink station antenna for Korea augmentation satellite system is presented. The antenna tracks the satellites and transmits the position information of accuracy and integrity. The antenna consists of the reflectors and the corrugated horn. The edge taper of a corrugated horn is considered to achieve the sharp radiation pattern which shall be under the international standard envelope. The geometry of the reflectors and the horns is designed for the low edge taper and the minimum blockage. The design results show the high gain and the low axial ratio for both frequency bands of communications and tracking.
