Abstract
LPWAN is a Low Power Wide Area Network protocol that supports low power consumption, low implementation complexity, low-cost, and secure bidirectional communication for Internet of Things(IoT).This paper proposed a method of storing important information and performing cryptographic operation using a HSM that can prevent physical hacking in order to maintain security for a LoRa communication device, which are mainly located outside or in a vulnerable state. And, this paper proposed a method for efficiently verifying the integrity of execution code of the main MCU in a LoRa communication device.
