Abstract
In this paper we introduce the conceptual design of vehicular digital cockpit that adaptively changes contents of the voice guidance and the digital cluster according to the driver 's age, gender and driving experience. Based on this conceptual design, we propose the necessary functional requirements to realize driver-adaptive human machine interface. In order to complete the digital cockpit adapted to the driver, it is necessary to measure and learn about the driver's condition, driving ability, and the cognitive response to the human machine interfaces as well as adapting to driver's preference and characteristics.
