Abstract
Devices like smart phone and car navigation can generate location data using GPS (Global Position System) which provides the position in a standard geographic coordinate system. In location tracking application like car and pedestrian navigation system, to get current location, the location data are periodically generated in short term e.g. 1 second. After a few hours of navigation, when the generated position data are accumulated, the accumulated data can be big enough to make some trouble. In this paper, an accumulated GPS data reduction implementation is described.
