Abstract
UDN is a mobile communication environment that is considered to meet the conditions of mobile communication services in the evolving mobile communication environment. The UDN is an environment in which a large number of small cells are deployment. In this environment, clustering is proposed to control many small cells. But, the conventional clustering does not take into account traffic dynamics inside the cluster. Also, if the distance between the clusters is not secured, the inter-cluster interference may increase. Therefore, in this paper, we propose cluster splitting that distribute the traffic in cluster by splitting the traffic overloaded cluster and small cell ON/OFF that turn the state of cell with high interference to reduce the interference by securing the distance between clusters. As a result, we were able to distribute the traffic load compared to the conventional clustering, to secure the distance between the split clusters and to increase the data rate.
