최근 자율 주행 차량의 발전과 더불어 차량 간 협력주행을 위한 V2X(Vehicle-to-everything) 통신기술의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 WAVE(Wireless Access for Vehicular Environments) 기반의 차량 간 고속이동 통신 환경에서 802.11p 물리계층 패킷 에러율 성능향상을 위한 다중 수신안테나 기반 새로운 다이버시티 채널 추정 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 우선 각 수신 안테나에서 초기 추정된 채널을 이용하여 MRC(Maximum Ratio Combining) 결합으로 데이터를 복원한 후 복원된 데이터를 파일럿으로 활용하여 다시 각 안테나의 채널을 MRC 패킹(packing)과정을 통해 추정함으로써 최대 수신 다이버시티 이득을 얻는다. 제안하는 기법의 성능 검증을 위해 본 논문에서는 Cohda Wireless 사에서 제시한 실측 채널 환경에서 모의실험을 실시한 결과를 소개하며, 이를 통해 기존 WAVE채널 추정 기법 대비 제안하는 기법의 패킷 에러율 성능의 우수성을 입증한다.
