Abstract
In this paper, a geometry-based channel model is proposed for the dominant multipaths in 3GPP millimeter-wave (mmWave) high-speed train (HST) channel. We focus on the open space scenario, i.e., urban and rural, with the straight track. In this type of scenario, the distribution of dominant multipaths follow a certain laws, based on which we an efficient geometry-based channel model and verify it with ray-tracing simulations.
