Abstract
Various hardware devices and software platforms have been created for virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality. Among the many applications of AR/VR, remote collaborative work by many people is most suitable for virtual/augmented reality technology that overcomes the limitation of time and space. In other words, remote collaboration using these technologies is expected to improve efficiency when people who are away from each other collaborate. In this paper, we present three criteria for classifying remote collaborations in VR / AR and classify them accordingly. We expect that the proposed taxonomy will be helpful in designing remote collaboration applications in the future.
