- Currently, Korea is aiming to construct the world's best two-way Ultra Broadband convergence Network (UBcN) by 2012, under the government's mid-to-long-term information and communication network plan. This paper studies the new concept in future networks after 2013, and proposes the ''All Things on the Network''concept as a possible developmental direction for Korea's future network. Three major environmental changes that will occur during the construction of the future network infrastructure are analyzed herein: ① the transition of the media industry ecosystem towards a cloud computing media environment converged with broadcasting,communications, newspapers, and publishing; ② the establishment of an autonomous distributed opinion formation model by the growth of the hyper-connected generation; and ③ the emergence of the mobile Internet and personal media, along with the growth of the personal network and customized media.
