초록
LoRaWAN has been designed from the beginning to provide strong end-to-end security for devices. Therefore, it is important to securely manage important information necessary for LoRaWAN communication. This paper proposes an implementation method of Secure Element-based LoRaWAN protocol processing module for an embedded device. Important security functions of the LoRaWAN protocol are handled within the Secure Element to prevent the leakage of important information such as keys. And, this paper defines instructions for communication between Secure Element and Main MCU, and proposes a method to perform security function of Secure Element by using instructions.
