Abstract
In this paper, we evaluated the interference effects on automotive collision avoidance radars from the fifth generation (5G) wireless system using an adjacent frequency band. For this, the scenario considering real environment was established and the analysis method was presented. And Monte-Carlo(MC) simulation is performed to evaluate interference effects on the automotive collision avoidance radars by 5G base station in terms of interference probability. As a result, we suggest the unwanted emission level of the 5G base station to protect automotive collision avoidance radars from the 5G base station interference. This result can be proposed technical criteria for spectrum compatibility between two systems.
