초록
The Internet of Things paradigm envisions a massive deployment of radio devices in unlicensed bands. However, it raises concerns about the peaceful coexistence of these devices. As a polite channel access scheme, adopting Listen Before Talk (LBT) with Adaptive Frequency Agility (AFA), called LBT+AFA, has been recommended for highly congested networks. Noting that there is no standardized mechanism for LBT+AFA, we propose a simple algorithm that can be easily implemented. With the proposed algorithm, we provide a novel fixed-point analysis on the throughput performance. Numerical simulations validate our analytical results.
