Abstract
This paper presents the development and result of an intersection safety information service terminal application that generates warning information based on intersection information delivered from infrastructure system to provide intersection safety service to vehicles. This service terminal application was developed as an android application on the embedded device which was connected to a GPS device, an OBD device, and an OBU. We could confirm that the location of the detected vehicle approaching at the intersection, the current and next traffic light status, the remaining traffic light time, and the safety indication information were generated and displayed on the map. Intersection safety services using this service terminal application will help to make safer autonomous driving.
