초록
User specific preamble transmission and timing advance command mechanisms are widely adopted for cellular uplink synchronization. However, the signaling overheads are scaled with the number of users and become prohibitive in massive connectivity usage scenario. In this paper, a kind of cooperative synchronization method is discussed resorting to cell specific signals. More specifically, the cluster of synchronous cells transmit time advanced signals cooperatively, and users estimate individual timing advances based on the reception time.
