Abstract
Due to increases of mobile data traffic and the number of devices, millimeter wave and terahertz backhaul networks have been suggested. However, since terahertz technologies are in an early stage of development, a measurement-based channel study at terahertz bands is difficult yet. In this paper, channel characteristics at 240 GHz were shown based on a ray-tracing simulation. To verify a geometrical data base for the simulation, simulation results and field measurements at 28 GHz were also provided.
