Abstract
IEEE 802.15.4e TSCH MAC is widely used for the industrial market, which require ultra-high reliability and ultra-low power. However, the significance of the TSCH is missing, which is a management function to build and maintain the communication schedule. We proposed a practical low-power scheduling technique and dynamic group slot distribution scheme in order to satisfy with both the energy efficiency and low latency in multi-hop environment. For the low-power, adaptive EB(Enhanced Beacon) transmission schedule which sets up and controls the topology of the network, reduces the energy consumption, and mitigates the message collision. In the dynamic group slot distribution scheme, a schedule based on observed resource usage guarantees maximum end-to-end latency even in a multi-hop. In our experiment, we show that the proposed techniques achieves industrial-grade performance in terms of latency, scalability, reliability and low-power consumption in a large scale.
