Abstract
In this paper, we propose a burst synchronization method that detects synchronization in VL-SNR under a carrier frequency offset of up to 30%. In order to detect bursts in a maximum of 30% CFO, we use a differential correlation method to detect each of the correlators at 0, 45, and -45 degrees, and select one with a large peak. In the case of log-on burst, preamble and pilot are used. The size of this value is 2048 and the number of tabs of matched filter is 24, since it should be detectable in SNR environment of -11dB. And in this paper, we verified that the performance of PER is satisfied at -11dB in the spread spectrum transmission method of DVB-RCS2 using the proposed burst detection method.
