Abstract
Modeling and simulation of a digital twin for smart city can help to create a more efficient and optimized city by modeling a real city in virtual space and analyzing and predicting the current state through simulation of urban design, planning, and operation in advance. In this paper, we implement DTSim, a digital twin simulation platform optimized for urban modeling and simulation. DTSim is an agent—based simulation platform. It has a multi—threaded server structure and provides an environment for building cities in virtual spaces and simulating city models. Therefore, simulation models performed in DTSim share a virtual urban environment and support multiple simulation models to be performed simultaneously or multiple models to be performed in cooperation with each other.
