Abstract
This paper proposes a co-channel interference (CCI) reduction scheme for cell edge users in OFDM systems using same frequency. The proposed scheme includes a joint channel-estimation method with interpolated sliding window (JCE-ISW) and a joint detection with QRM-MLD based on the maximum interference selection cancellation (QRM-MLD-MIS C). The proposed method, which is a pilot-based channel estimation method, utilizes an interpolated sliding window method to reduce the influence of CCI on channel estimation. The proposed detection scheme is a joint detection with QRM-MLD-MISC. The simulation results show the performance improvement of the proposed method compared with that of conventional methods.
