확률기하는 동작변수간 상관관계 파악에 용이하지만, 실제 네트워크 동작의 단순화된 모델링에 의해제한적 환경에 대해서만 적용가능하다는 한계가 있다. 반면, 시뮬레이션은 다양한 환경에 대해 성능 분석이가능하지만, 동작변수간 상관관계 파악이 어렵다는 한계가 있다. 본 논문은 확률기하와 기계학습을 통해, 셀룰러 네트워크의 순방향 성능을 매개변수화하고, 경로감쇄지수, 음영, 열잡음에 따른 성능을 학습하기 위한 방안을 제시한다. 또한, 제안 방안이 기지국 밀도및 송신 전력의 설계에 응용될 수 있음을 보인다
