- This paper presents the hardware architecture of Gen-Z memory pool system. We present a memory pool computer architecture based on an Intel CPU, and a general-purpose memory pool computer architecture based on PCIe. To implement Gen-Z protocol, Gen-Z host adapter, Gen-Z switch, and GenZ memory pool adapter were configured. Gen-Z connection network was connected by 100Gbps Ethernet protocol, and a total of 4.5TB of DDR4 memory pool was configured.
