Abstract
The need for vehicle communication security is increasing. In the case of the in-vehicle network, the safety problems make it difficult to apply the communication security functions to the real vehicles. Vehicle communication data is rapidly increasing due to the autonomous driving and connectivity support, and the vehicle ethernet is being actively studied for the communication bandwidth. Datagram transport layer security (DTLS) is one of the in-vehicle ethernet security technologies, and in this paper we analyze the DTLS crypto key mismatch situation and study the method to quickly restore it.
