- Abstract
- For high quality satellite broadcasting service, Variable Coding and Modulation (VCM) could be widely used for rain fading to enhance service availability in DVB-S2x (Digital Video Broadcasting -Satellite 2nd Generation eXtension) standard, respectively. For next generation satellite broadcasting and communication system, we come up with spectral efficient transmission technology based on non orthogonal multiplexing and compare it with VCM in terms of the augmented data rate in AWGN channel and nonlinear satellite impairments as representative satellite channel model.
