초록
Fifth generation (5G) wireless networks are expected to support very diverse scenarios, such as massive connectivity from all types of low-cost devices, broadband everywhere even in ultra-dense areas. NB-IoT evolved beyond the basic functionality specified in Release 13 to reduce the UE complexity and power consumption. In this paper, we present the architecture and procedure for a management of Early Data Transmission (EDT) and Preconfigured Uplink Resource (PUR) for Industry IoT system using NB-IoT to reduce the signaling overhead.
