Abstract
The discrete-time RF receiver intended for mobile TV applications is developed to be easily merged with digital front-end (DFE) with excellent performances. The digital noise cancellation logic block of MASH 2-2 delta-sigma modulator is directly connected with DFE and reduce its quantization noise. A discrete-time DS-ADC predicting a SNR of 70㏈ over 4㎒ signal bandwidth at a sampling rate of 250㎒ is cascaded with switched capacitor filter through the clock synchronization to eliminate the signal loss between SCF and DS-ADC. The sensitivity for DVB-H system is about -90㏈m with a power consumption of 100㎽.
