Abstract
In this paper, in order to maximize the driving efficiency and safety of the autonomous driving system, a 3-tier structure composed of a server, edge infrastructure, and autonomous driving system, a 3-tier structure composed of a server, edge infrastructure, and autonomous driving system, and a protocol necessary for communication between them, are proposed. Using the proposed system structure and communication protocol, the autonomous driving system received the optimal GPP service and conducted an experiment to perform cooperative driving. In the future, this cooperative driving technology is expected to develop into more services by guiding not only vehicle-to-infrastructure, but also vehicle-to-vehicle driving and providing more detailed driving information in real time.
