PubMob: Publisher Mobility Support in NDN-based Pub/Sub System

- Abstract
- In Named Data Networking, the mobility of data consumer is basically supported by the network layer. However, additional mechanisms are required to support mobility of mobile data producers. Similarly, in the NDN-based Pub/Sub system, publisher mobility is not natively supported. In this paper, we design a scheme to support publisher mobility using pub/sub broker. We also present implementation of publisher mobility feature to prove feasibility of our design.
