초록
The swarm drone has been attracting attention as a solution to improve the utilization of drone by solving the shortcomings of a single drone. To implement the swarm drone, the communication network and access mechanism for swarm drone should be considered. In this paper, the cluster-based network with one head or controller of a cluster of neighbor drones and carrier-sense multiple access with collision avoid mechanism (CSMA/CA) are considered. In this system, in order to send data to and receive data from the controller, the neighbor drones should communicate with a head drone by winning the competition for channel acquisition with neighbor drones trying to transmit data. To figure out this system potential for swarm drone, the basic CSMA/CA simulation is implemented by constructing a state transition diagram. Moreover, the network throughput and latency are analyzed by using this simulation.
