Abstract
Millimeter-wave (mmWave) is crucial to realize autonomous driving for its wide bandwidth and low latency. In complex vehicular communication scenarios, the shadow effect of large vehicles has a significant influence on the vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) channel. Thus, it is necessary to study the channel characteristics in this case. This paper uses a calibrated ray-tracing simulator to research the influence of traffic flow and the beam switching technology on the V2V channel in the "See-Through situation". Finally, through the extraction of channel parameters, the characteristics of the V2V channel at the mmWave band are explored. Conclusions can provide new ideas for the design of the vehicular communication link level.
