Abstract
Recently, the autonomous driving service development using V2X technology is actively underway to introduce autonomous driving level 4 or higher by 2027, through the Korean government R&D projects. In this paper, we analyzed the network latency requirements to support advanced driving service for the 3GPP LTE-V2X and 5G-NR access and core network. Based on average delay time, see through, collective info sharing, and infra perception services are possible for LTE-V2X network, and platooning and lane change services are also possible when the 5G-NR network is used.
