Abstract
Over the past year, mobile contents are exclusively provided and managed by service or content providers. Although the distribution policy has some advantages in that can guarantee the quality of contents and allows them to make considerable profits, content consumers continue to require a variety of personalized services considering their present situations. Furthermore, with the sustainable growth of the smartphone market like iPhone or Google android, mobile devices with built-in high performance hardware modules such as camera, GPS, sensors etc. are widely distributed all around the world, and their application market also has been invigorated by many people. But these numerous mobile applications lead to some problems in finding what end-user really wants to use. This paper describes the loosely coupled architecture for a context-aware system composed of an authoring toolkit that supports a model driven development to define context-aware service, and a service management which deals with the service model as an application bundle on the OSGi framework. In particular, the proposed toolkit can model a complex context as a kind of workflow based on a scenario of context-awareness service with respect to domain specific expert knowledge, and also configure its spatial information through Google Maps.
