Abstract
Ahstract-Sub-terahertz band has many challenges in hardware as well as in channel. One of the most significant impairments in sub-terahertz band is from the phase noise. In this paper, we discuss how the phase noise is appeared in the resource domains, such as frequency-time and delay-Doppler domain, under various waveforms. Effective channel estimation including distortion from the phase noise is considered and the residual distortion from the phase noise after channel equalization is observed. Based on the observed results, we also briefly discuss about the methods of compensating the phase noise in each of the waveforms.
