Abstract
This paper presents an event driven communication method of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) composite sensors for energy saving. The aim of the composite sensor is to monitor the temperatures only while the hot press is forming. The composite sensor consists of an acceleration sensor and several temperature sensors. The acceleration sensor is to detect the forming start time and then the temperature sensor measures the forming temperature. This paper discusses the event detection method of the composite sensor and analyzes the expected battery lifetime.
