Abstract
As cloud systems develop, the importance of ‘cloud native’ is increasing. Cloud native takes full advantage of the benefits of the cloud, such as scalability and manageability. In particular, it adopts a microservice structure that divides the application into as small a unit as possible, and the subdivided application unit is executed as a container. However, when a container platform, which is a virtualized object, is used, there is a problem that security may be relatively weak compared to a virtual machine having an independent operating system. In this paper, security threats to container virtualization platforms and their solutions are explored, focusing on ’cloud native security’ defined by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) that pursues cloud native.
