Abstract
The hybrid model is one of solutions when considering both low computational cost and fine-grained behavior in a large-scale urban traffic simulation. In this paper, we present the Multiscale UNIQ-SALT, which is the combined urban traffic simulation model with mesoscopic and microscopic model, and it provides the individual vehicle states for the defined focusing area of entire target area and cell based states for the others simultaneously. Finally, compared with collected real traffic passing volume and speed in target area including about 290 traffic signals in Seo-Daejeon area, we show the simulated result is about 5% errors on average and its simulation time is 4.3% lower.
