- Abstract
- In the evolution of internet technologies, dataoriented semantic web and service-oriented web services are developing to convergent technology called as SWS (Semantic Web Services). This paper reviews the state of the art for semantic annotation as core technology of SWS. Five semantic annotation approaches are reviewed and compared from different perspectives. And we show SWS modeling by WSMO (Web Services Modeling Ontology) based annotations to predict the probabilities and timing of the realization of SWS.
