Abstract
As smart home environment gets more and more diverse with newly evolved devices, applications and composed services, there is a need to have a system level management that makes multiple services in a smart home execute efficiently and effectively. To schedule and coordinate the execution of multiple services at each household, resources in a smart home have to be scheduled and managed depending on the current context of the services. This paper investigates the current evolvement of smart home service management and proposes how to handle the events,schedule the service execution, manage and coordinate the resources in a smart home based on different contexts. To demonstrate the framework, a prototype of the system is implemented and a case study is also included.
